Skegness Through The Years
This is a project I worked on with my wife, Jennifer, and the Skegness U3A Local History Group.

The first part seeks to bring together the main threads of what was known, mainly from published sources, about the development of Skegness up to 1939.

There are also more in-depth studies of Skegness in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries; the transition from agricultural village to a seaside town and short articles on men of influence: the Earls of Scarbrough, Henry Vivian Tippet and Rowland Henry Jenkins.

Some extracts of our work are published here. The full book "Skegness Through The Years" can be purchased on Amazon.
