The Scilly Isles have always been very special to me. I first visited for my honeymoon in 1965, and I have been back three times since for special anniversaries, most recently in 2015.
This enchanting archipelago lies just off the coast of Cornwall but it is world apart from England in every way. The official website describes it as "a natural wonder, like a cluster of precious ocean jewels, where nature thrives and the soul is inspired."
